Location is perfect! Great breakfast, clean and modern rooms. Pets are welcome. You could open the window to get some fresh air and room was dark at night. Room was close to the elevator which is important with dogs.

We booked twin, but when we got to the hotel, the lady at the reception said twin rooms are not available, finally gave us twin rooms on lower level. The hotel doesn’t have private parking space, they suggested us to park at the shopping center which is very expensive. When we asked about the parking information at the street, the lady at the reception said she didn’t know which was not reasonable. Her attitude was not good and didn’t want to offer any help. We are not very happy with the hotel.

The reception staff was super friendly and welcoming, especially male staff on the day of our check-in. He couldn’t have been more gentle and helpful, big kudos to him! We had a fun room on the 6th floor with a very nice view and a small balcony. Very good breakfast (for non-vegans). For vegans it was still good: beans in tomato sauce, fried mushrooms, fried potatoes, and veggies of course. They even had a surprisingly good vegan mud cake! All in all, we loved our stay and would love to come back one day.

The reception staff was very friendly and helpfull, felt sorry for them though, since there was only one person working on both days and the customer queues were quite long on both days.

Very comfortable rooms and Comfy beds BUD we had 2 twin bed which was made to one doublebed But the beds where sliding apart which was very annoying! Great breakfast with a Lot of coices and the staff was great at the buffet! Location is really good and it had a terrace in the 6th floor

Back in Harstad once again, we came back to Thom Hotel. Reception was lovely and we even got another sea view room. Also got a good hint concerning parking as the hotel parking was full, but there's free options just down the road during the night which fit well with our flight plans. Breakfast was amazing again and we'll happily come back again to Thon in Harstad

Breakfast = best hotel breakfast I've ever had, and it was FREE! Staff = friendly, helpful, awesome (Sonje was amazing) Location = STELLAR. Right across from the ocean and near a bunch of cool stuff

Breakfasts were excellent, view from the room on the harbour, sea and fjords was amazing and quiet peaceful neighborhood was as pick as by my choice. Another point I liked and rarely can be found in hotels is, "a room window can be opened and provide us fresh, polar cap, air", there was no even need for heating to be used in the room to be pleasant. Also, fresh self serving coffee, tea and small sweets can be found in the lobby of the hotel, any time and free of charge.
